Our Philosophy.

MGBSA is a not-for-profit volunteer organization that provides a safe and fun environment to help boys and girls Pre-K through 8th grade develop competence and confidence in the games of baseball and softball. We develop baseball and softball skills with an approach designed to inspire love for the game, build lasting friendships, and continuously improve each and every player’s abilities at every level.
Why Choose MGBSA?
- Fun.
Regardless of your child’s current level of ability, he or she has a place in MGBSA. We are a welcoming baseball and softball organization that strives to teach while making the game fun for all players, coaches and parents.
- Skills Oriented.
Your child will also build the necessary baseball/softball skills to be a competitive player and team contributor no matter their age or previous experience. All MGBSA players are taught individual and team skills, sportsmanship, and game strategy through a fundamental approach customized by age and ability.
- Affordable.
MGBSA also offers the most competitive season rates in the area, provides all players with a uniform per season, gives coaches all necessary equipment, and plays all practices and games in either Morton Grove or suburbs within a short distance (primarily Lincolnwood, Niles and Skokie).

Why Volunteer?

Many think that coaching is the only way to volunteer and support MGBSA. While we can always use coaches, there are many other opportunities to help. Volunteers do not need any previous baseball or softball knowledge; they just need to be organized and willing to give a few hours a month of their time.
